• Since Sheriff Whitlock took office in  2001, the office has taken millions of dollars in illegal drugs from the streets of Meriwether County. Through concentrated patrols, walks thru the woods, diligent follow-up on tips and the cooperative effort with Sheriff Terry Langley of the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, a strong stance has been taken against our ever growing drug problem . The county has benefitted in that confiscated vehicles and funds have been turned into usuable equipment to help further this fight. This photo show includes shots from the interdiction efforts being made...seized contraband, funds and a few of the seized vehicles that have been refurbished and put to work for the county...
